I ordered an EF-6000 system from dogfencediy.com in Feb 2013, because of the snow in KC I wasn't able to install the fence till end of March. The system is absolutely horrible, the collars are so glitchy. I bought two collars, one completely stop working and wont charge after a week, the second would shut off for no reason. Today, after my dog came in from outside, the collar started going off and zapping my miniature shepherd and would stop, we had to get the collar off of her and she has been traumatize the rest of the night.

I am calling dogfencediy.com tomorrow to see if I can completely return the system for something else, I just wanted to let people know about the safety (or un-safety) of this system. I spent over $400 for the system, an extra collar, charge and wire for a nice idea but a completely un-safe system.
